My future job

When I finish my career I would like to work doing archaeological investigations. I imagine going to an archaeological site, working in the excavation for a time, and after that coming back to the lab to work in the things that I found. After that publishing my investigation in a magazine or something like that. So I believe that my future job will be both in outdoors and in indoors, that gives makes it more interesting, is not a monotonous work, you have to travel, to come back, to work some time in the lab, some time in a office. I really want to travel as part of my job, around Chile and also to visit and work in another countries, and this job will probably require me to travel to find or to work in an archaeological site .
I thing that I will prefer to work in a university more that for the government or a company, because it gives me more freedom to chose a topic or the methods of investigation, and maybe I would like to teach some day and a university can give me the chance.
So I'm going to take a major in Archaeology in the middle of the career because is the anthropological subject that I like more, I can investigate about the past and use a lot of scientific methods.

Computer Games

I actually use my computer to play video games. It's true that It may be not a productive activity but, some times it helps me to relax.
I play my first video game when I have my first computer, I don't remember how old I was, or what game it was. Now my favourite video game are Call of duty and Pro evolution soccer. Call of Duthy is a first person shooter  game, there are a lot of editions that happends in diferent places or time, and Pes is a soccer game, yo can play whit an entire team or whit just a player, you can play against a friend or in the same team with him. I usally play it whit some friends, it's really funny because you can play against them and talk and laugh. I really don't spend a lot of time playing video games, but if I have a free time, and nothing to do it could be an option. I've never skip sleep just for play a video game, and I hope never do it.
Video games aren't a important thing in my life, I prefer a lot of things over it, like go somewhere whit my friends or spend time whit my family.

My best holidays

The last summer I went to Pichilemu. It was the best holidays so far. I went there whit four friends. We rent a nice cabin very cheap and very good located, near the beach and the town's center.
The best think that we did there was surfing. The first day we take a surfing lesson  and after that all the days of the week that we spend there we rent surfboards and surf there. Also we went a couple of days to Punta de Lobos, a beach near to Pichilemu that is one of the best surfing spots in the world. One day we also surf on there, It was really difficult to us, we was just learning and the waves there were really, really big...
Some afternoons we just walk around the town or the beach, it was really relaxing. And I recharge my batteries for this first year at the university.
I have to admit that to cook and to clean the cabin was also an adventure for us, but it was funny, and a very good experience.
We want to do it again, maybe this summer, I hope so.

Movies

I remember that when I was a child I loved a movie called The Land Before Time. It was about a little dinosaur and his friends, and a lot of adventures that they have. It was a serie of movies about it. And I saw they all.

I really like to go to the cinema, but to watch movies with a lot of special effects, maybe movies without a lot of content, but I preffer to watch more complex movies at home. 

A few weeks ago I watch a movie called "Could Atlas", Tom Hanks stars in this film. It is a really complex movie, because it shows six stories at the time, from the XIX Century, to a post-apocaliptic future, showing allways the same actors doing diferents roles. The movie talk about how the actions of a person affect other people's life now and in the future. I really reccomend it, it makes you think and is really entertaining.

I really like watching movies, and I enjoy  spending some of my free time on it.  

Italy

Beautiful places, good food, and a lot of history. If I could choose any place in the world to visit I would choose Italy. I really like the historical places there, the italian food is my favourite and I have listen that the people there is very nice, so I think that I could have a very good time there.

A friend how visit Italy tell me that is a very good place to go, he visit all the country and knew a lot of pleaces and people. I also know a little about the historical places of Italy. The Roman Empire left behind many constructions, monuments, temples and other things, that tell us things about his history, and you can visit this places in Italy.

I would like to visit all this historical places that I talk about, to eat a lot of italian food, as pastas and pizza and to know people.

I would like to study there maybe for a couple of months or go to work as an archeologist when I finish my carrer, but I think that may be better to go just as a tourist to have relaxing vacations.  I hope some day I will be there.

Zombies

Run!!!! 

That's probably the first thing that you will listen if zombies are coming 

Zombies are people how died and become alive again. 

I hear about zombies for the first time years ago in a movie, there are a lot of movies and books about zombies, and now is a mainstream topic, because of movies like "Resident evil" or shows like The Walking dead" everybody is talking about zombies. But there are a lot of ways to imagine a zombie, some people (and because of some movies) believe that zombies are dumb and slow, that just move around like stupid trying to bite somebody. But other people think in very smarts zombies, fasts an strong (like the one that you can see in "I'm legend")  

I really don't believe that zombies exist. I believe that they are fiction characters, but there are some people that believe that they are real, and someones has joined to zombies cult, but I don't know anybody that has did it.

I never was really afraid to zombies, I think that because the mostly of movies shows them like stupids being, but I have some friends that when we was child really were afraid of it.   

Zombies are really interesting, and stories about zombies are listened all around the world.   

Giovanni Belzoni

A person that I admire is Giovanni Belzoni. he was born in Italy on 1778 but latter he travel to England and he worked there as an strong man in a circus. Years after that he traveled to Egipto, and he started exploring tombs and selling archaeology materials to important persons or museums. He discovered a lot of things, and has a lot of adventures, he wrote a book of his adventures and discovery called "

Narrative of the Operations and Recent Discoveries within the Pyramids, Temples, Tombs and Excavations in Egypt and Nubia, &c". Belzoni explored Elephantine (Jazirat Aswan) and the Temple of Edfu (Idfu). In 1818 he became the first person in modern times to enter the pyramid of Khafre at Giza. He was also one of the first Europeans to visit the oasis of Siwa, and he identified the ruins of Berenice on the Red Sea.

I like him because he do very interesting things, his adventures includes things like run away from the army, the police, and natives, some people consider him a tomb raider, and disapprove his methods because he disregarded many items that did not interest him and must have damaged much in pursuit of his goal, but it doesn´t matter to anybody in his time 

Maybe he didn't make big contributions to archaeology in theory but he found a lot of important material that actually is showed in big museums or expositions.
